It's been too long....!

Well, I did have all good intentions of writing a regular blog (weekly, monthly even), but alas I have not met my own targets. The shame !!

Ok its a new day and a new dawn...I shall endeavour to make more effort and publish regular articles about life in the industry and life inside Osborne.

Things have changed quite abit since my last blog. A new team, a new branch in Northampton and new challenges to test our resolve.

The current economic climate is worrying many companies into freezing all recruitment activity. However many other businesses have actually taken on temporary workers. Not only is this a sensible approach as they are then able to "flex" this workforce to meet demand - but it is also a highly cost effective solution.

We have now recently reached 800 registered online candidates through www.osborneappointments.co.uk. Similiar to our Christmas appeal in Herts in 2007, we did an appeal in Northampton in December 2008, with over 80 presents being donated from local businesses. A massive thank you to all who donated.

Osborne reaches the '500' mark

This has been a landmark week for Osborne, as we have just received our 500th candidate who has registered via www.osborneappointments.co.uk. Why such a landmark I hear you ask? Well, the website has only been operational for just over 12 months, and was recently relaunched at the end of November. Since the relaunch we have had over 300 people register.
A fantastic achievement.

Osborne Offer Benefits Scheme for workers!!!

"myChoice" is here....!! I am pleased to announce that Osborne Appointments have implemented a unique Benefits Programme, called “myChoice” for our temporary workers. Delivering Presents

On Sunday 16th December, Osborne's Secret Santa delivered presents galore to children in the QE2 hospital in Welwyn Garden City.

Thanks to the very kind generosity of local businesses, there were in excess of 100 presents handed out at a special party and throughout the Accident & Emergency ward.

We will be delivering more presents to children in The Lister Hospital on Thursday 20th December.
